Top 5 Benefits of Taking a Collagen Powder

Discover some of the top benefits of taking a daily collagen powder. Collagen is the most abundant property in your body, so supplementing with it can help with so much more than just giving you gorgeous hair, skin and nails (although it does that too).

If you're here, you probably already know that collagen is a key protein in the human body. You've probably hear about it helping with hair growth, nail strength, skin elasticity and fair skin.

However, I bet you didn't know that taking collagen could be as easy as enjoying a matcha latte or a refreshing charcoal lemonade. That's where we come in — Fancy Formulas has the best tasting collagen powders in the market, making taking a collagen supplement a breeze.

Now, lets get into the top 5 benefits of taking a collagen powder:

1. Improves Hair, Skin and Nails

Like we said, this is the most commonly known benefit of taking a collagen powder. But that doesn't make it irrelevant, in fact, it's the reason most people take a collagen powder supplement at all!

Adding a collagen supplement to your diet will promote natural and healthy hair growth, giving you the locks of your dreams. Collagen is also a prime building block for our skin, so supplementing with it aids with skin elasticity, preventing wrinkles and more.

Lastly, collagen helps turn brittle and breaking nails into naturally full, gorgeous and strong nails!

2. Detox and Get Better Gut Health

Your liver is tap-tap-tapping away at toxins on the daily, so why not help it? Collagen protein contains glycine, which is excellent at supporting your liver as it goes through it's natural detoxification process.

Similarly, collagen helps replenish cells in your intestinal wall and therefore helps prevent toxins from swimming from your intestines to your bloodstream (also commonly referred to as having a leaky gut).

Since collagen is the most abundant protein in your body, supplementing with it helps repair a lot of the natural damage your body takes.
